DIRECTIONS FOR BURNING:

Mark your LightJourney candle with a notch, drawing or other symbol and place this side facing North. North on your Sacred Wheel will be the Sage Pathway and on the Chakra Wheel will be the Symbolic chakra. Place the candle in an area where it will burn evenly, free from drafts, fans, etc. and in  a fireproof container (bowl that can collect any melting wax.) Never leave the burning candle unattended.

Light your candle asking for Divine guidance and blessing with the intent of the candle in mind. Follow by stating a personal prayer or a traditional Beauty Way Prayer such as:

“May beauty walk before me.
May beauty walk behind me.
May beauty walk to my left and to my right.
May beauty be above me.
May beauty be below me, and radiate out to all I meet

Ya Ta(e)Hey, Namaste or Amen

Thereafter, each time you light or extinguish the flame, request God’s continued blessing and guidance stating: “Blessed  be”.

It is useful to keep a record of the candle color and scents you are using at a specific time, and how you react to them; how they made you feel and how both the color and scent information related to what has been happening in your life at that time.
